Mailbox
What do you do with a collection of vintage mailbox doors?
This "mailbox" displays a collection of those doors, all functional and restored to reflect their lifetime of use and beauty. After dropping some mail in the front door slot, the back can be opened to retrieve the mail.
Finished in several custom blended colors of milk paint, this piece features multiple layers, sanded and buffed to mimic the appearance of that mailbox that might be on the corner of your street, or in front of a local business.
An older USPS logo was lasered into the door, and "rivets" on each side mimic a real mailbox.
For perspective - this piece is around 15" square, and roughly 22" tall
